The smallest are suitable for jewellery, cosmetics and mobile phone accessories; the medium-sized ones (150×215–230×340 mm) are suitable for books, small electronic items and gifts; the largest ones (300×445, 350×470 mm) are suitable for larger items or several items together.

A bubble envelope is made from 80 g paper, with an additional polyethylene coating and bubble wrap on the inside – this provides shock absorption. A courier envelope is a single-layer LDPE plastic film without a soft lining. A bubble envelope provides better protection for fragile items, whilst a courier envelope is more water-resistant and cheaper for sending non-fragile items.

Yes, that is exactly what it is designed for – the bubble wrap absorbs shocks from the inside during transport.
