No one would argue that, these days, adhesive tape featuring your company’s slogan or logo is an excellent marketing solution. Goods wrapped in adhesive tape catch the eye of thousands of people every day. It would be unwise not to use this simple and inexpensive method to send a message to your customers. At the same time, it’s the ideal way to announce a new product or item, or to warn customers about fragile or confidential items inside the parcel.

Standard adhesive tape is usually made from a polypropylene or polyester base and coated with a strong adhesive. It is 48 mm wide. This tape cannot be torn by hand, so parcels or boxes will be protected from invisible damage. Adhesive tape makes work easier and improves the quality of packaging. The most popular type, and the one most commonly used for securing items, is ‘Acrylic’ tape. It unrolls easily, remains transparent and does not yellow. Furthermore, it easily seals goods or parcels at above-zero temperatures. If parcels or goods are being packed under less favourable conditions, it is advisable to choose ‘Hot-Melt’ or ‘Solvent’ type adhesive tapes coated with synthetic rubber adhesive. These highly adhesive tapes are suitable for packing goods in damp environments, at sub-zero temperatures, or when the surface of the goods is dusty. They are also an excellent choice for sealing heavier cardboard boxes.
